Discover Cremona
We are pleased to offer to art and violin-making fans our services of guided tours in the small fascinating town of Cremona. Its gorgeous Cathedral was founded in 1107 and the violin was invented here by Andrea Amati in the first half of 16th Century.
Half day tour
- all the medieval buildings facing Piazza del Comune (Cathedral, Baptistery, Torrazzo Tower, City Hall, Soldiers' Loggia),
- the inside of the Cathedral (cycle of frescoes dating back to the early 16th Century and recent findings),
- the inside of the Palazzo Comunale (City Hall) with the Collection of Ancient Instruments made by Andrea Amati, Antonio Stradivari and Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesω (entrance fee: 3,50 / person). It is usually possible to book and enjoy a short performance of one of the ancient violins (added fee: 1,50 / person, working days only, pre-booking a must),
- the inside of the Baptistery with the original dome and the Collection of Pietre Romaniche (romanesque sculptures) of the Cathedral (entrance fee: 1,00 / person).

- the visit of the magnificent Chiesa di S. Sigismondo (to be reached by coach), completely covered with frescoes mostly dating back to the 16th Century.
